WA.K Studio is a Brooklyn-based architecture practice founded by Beom Jun Kim, creating tailored spaces through close collaboration with clients to reflect their unique needs. Beom Jun has over 15 years of experience having worked at renowned firms such as Selldorf Architects, Architecture Research Office, MOS and Toyo Ito & Associates.
Beom Jun brings a deep understanding of design excellence and rigor to every project, no matter the scale. He is also sensitive to the financial and logistical impacts of design decisions from his career in business and finance prior to becoming an architect.
Beom Jun received his Masters of Architecture from Yale University where he continues to teach and serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Urban Pedagogy.
We utilize cutting-edge virtual reality tools to allow clients to experience and interact with designs in immersive, 3D environments, ensuring a more intuitive and transparent design journey.

It is in our nature to surround ourselves with elements from the earth and we believe that the materials we choose are key to creating spaces that are both beautiful and enduring. We aim to create homes that feel grounded in their surroundings while minimizing environmental impact.
